Lyn D. Nielsen grew up on Vashon Island, WA. By the age of eight she wanted to be a writer; and as a teen, discovered the desert…all part of a Master plan.

She is the author of Place of Sage Books, and her heartfelt mission is clear: to write a series that inspires her readers and fight senior hunger across America. Her plan is two-fold: raise awareness of this tragedy through book events; and then from sales, raise funds for senior meal programs in each town she visits.

Lyn lives in Washington State where she is a mom, grandma, still married to her high school sweetheart, Dion’s best friend…and the girl from Place of Sage.

Like her picture shows, she is most at home in Levi's and boots. And yes, it's true, she can tell a great skunk story...well, great for all who hear it...not so great for her and Dion!)

Lyn's mission will launch in full this Fall (2010), alongside her second book release.

~~~~~
“I have known Lyn for a couple of years, and through those years, she has had her sites set on writing.  Each time she made progress, a roadblock would come up, but she kept a positive attitude, reminding me and those around her that it was in the Master plan….
Describing Lyn, I would say she is one of those ‘ivory girls,’ honest, natural, and easy to get to know.”
