Stepping Out

There are many reasons why we hesitate… fear of the unknown, fear of the known, lack of confidence, lack of faith…

But if God is calling you to step out in faith and do something for Him,  here are three good reasons why you should:

  • God of the entire universe said to.
  • He always has a plan, and it includes you.
  • And if you do the thing He asks of you, He blesses you more than you can imagine.

There will be dark times ahead, and I believe that God is calling on His people to step out and shine a light through this darkness.

Now is the time to be brave.

And on that note, the following presentation is a step out in faith, and it was made to inspire you.

This video is presented by one who struggles with the same reasons to hesitate – but can say with all her heart, that God always follows through when He asks something of you; and with Him, nothing is impossible.

How to be Inspired Through the Darkest Times in Life

Be courageous.  Step out in faith.  Your calling is so worth it!

One Response to Stepping Out

  1. Nancy says:

Ah… stepping out in faith… wrestling with that dream you have had for years- that for the most part has been squashed down into the “unattainable” file of our lives- then all of a sudden it is back, and stronger than ever.

It becomes a almost constant companion during the day, the thought “what if? what if now is the time to work on that dream that has been eluding me my whole life?”

It wasn’t until I finally got brave enough to even venture out with the possibility and ask God what he thought on the subject, that I got my answer “Now is the time, go thru the open door, follow your dream.”

With that guidance, came the realization that it had been God flooding my thoughts with His plans for me all along….and yes, as Lyn loves to say, “God does always follow through when he asks something of you; and with Him, nothing is impossible.”

It may have taken me five years to become a Registered Nurse, but with strength, wisdom and encouragement from God and my family, I made it through.

Lyn really does know about following your dreams and inspiring others to follow theirs; you see, she is my sister. She encouraged, inspired, laughed and cried with me all throughout those five years.

So… if you, or anyone you know, needs a good dose of encouragement to step out and follow your dreams, I encourage you to read Lyn’s books, participate in her blog and even invite her to speak; you will not regret it, and you won’t ever be the same.
